Our Story

NEVER NAKED PEOPLE was founded by Almarosa Estrada, a first-generation Mexican-American from Inglewood, California. Growing up, jewelry was a form of identity and self-expression. It was something you chose because it felt distinctly you and wore every day.

As Almarosa began shopping for jewelry on her own, she found a gap between fine jewelry that felt inaccessible and affordable pieces that simply didn’t last. She also began to notice a lack of transparency around the materials used in jewelry, with pieces often carrying high price points without the quality to match. She wanted to challenge that norm by not only being transparent about the materials used in NNP jewelry, but also educating others on metal alloys so they can become more informed jewelry shoppers.

Almarosa envisioned something in between: bold, expressive jewelry made with premium materials, designed for everyday life, and offered without the traditional fine-jewelry price tag.

That vision became NEVER NAKED PEOPLE.

Every piece begins with Almarosa’s own sketches and concepts and is brought to life by skilled manufacturers using materials such as 18K gold vermeil, rhodium-plated sterling silver, and thoughtfully selected gemstones. Before a design makes it to market, Almarosa personally puts it to the test by wearing it through outdoor runs, gym sessions, workdays, dinners, and everyday occasions to make sure it can keep up.
